It was my pleasure to join White Fields missions on their annual medical mission in July to communities around LaCeiba. There were over 20 of us that made up a team from KY, VA, IN, GA, AL, FL and even Ireland! Of course several Hondurans were a tremendous help to us with their interpretation, crowd control and all around servant’s heart. Our team seemed to be “of one accord” throughout the whole week and learned what it is to love others and to sacrifice self. It was HOT!!! We visited four villages, all within an hour of our base. At the end of the week, we found that we had ministered to 939 patients, had 225 salvations, gave 307 Bibles away and gifted 363 people with prescription glasses. It was very satisfying to know that we helped folks that needed what we had.
Below, I put together a short video with our team members as they worked and ministered to our new friends in Honduras.
